I have one computer on my desk and several other things that require cords. The mess above is mine. I am fortunate, however, to have a husband that got some device to handle all these things. Fire is the one thing I fear and I’ve heard horror stories about electrical fires.
Please make sure you are safely plugged in for you and your loved ones. Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful!
As much as I love to write, I have to make real life a priority! More soon…I think. At least after kayaking, a trip to San Francisco, and catching up upon return.
Enjoy being on line but don’t forget to actually LIVE LIFE!

I kayaked on the lake alone a couple of days ago. This photo is why. It
gave me moments to breathe, to reflect, to give thanks and pray, and to
exercise to get to where I was going! It was brisk, and my only company was a host of birds. I tried to catch them taking wing and got this photo with my little digital camera:
Take a breath and join me, if in spirit only. Take time - you don’t have to “see if you can” - you just need to remember, this is your life and you have a right to a few moments (or hours) of peace to regenerate. If you don’t take it, life will take you! (and leave you depleted).
You are worth it! You’ll also be better for others along the way.

There has been such a wonderful response to the sale of the relaxation CD’s, that as a thank you, I am offering (until December 10th) TWO for the price of one! SERIOUSLY, I love the fact people are willing to begin to change their lives for the better. STRESS IS A KILLER - physically and mentally!
Buy one for a peer in the office, someone at school, granny, perhaps someone recovering from an illness or even a major heart surgery (YES-it has helped men who never thought about “learning” to relax!)
These relaxation CD’s can change lives. If you don’t know what to get someone this is the gift that keeps on giving….Literally….25% of the sales will be donated to the Disabled American Veterans!
Life doesn’t have to be “critical” all the time. We can change the world by changing the stress level of the world - one person at a time! If you just don’t know what to get - GET THIS CD! Besides, where can you get two cool gifts for this price. Regularly $14.95 each, you get two for the price of one. That makes each CD reasonable for a gift - and if you care about the person at all - a very thoughtful gift!
Three relaxations, beautiful music, and easy instructions. What are you waiting for now?
Will be shipped same day and NO SHIPPING charges. Simply email mo@jett.net or go to the website address on the cover picture.

Normally I don’t copy material, but I found a very small article on the back page of the paper and I found it absolutely incredible - what do you think?
“A weird glow is visible in the night sky right now, and astronomers don’t know what to make of it. It’s an obscure and very faint comet that suddenly blazed into astonishing brilliance and is growing larger but dimmer-and while it’s still visible all night long, astronomers are puzzling over the unexpected outburst.”
“It’s really bizarre, said Joseph Miller, a University of California at Santa Cruz astronomer and former director of the Lick Observatory atop Mount Hamilton, near San Jose.”
(NOW HERE IS THE AMAZING PART TO ME) “That thing started out only a few miles in diameter, and suddenly it expanded at a thousand miles an hour until it was as big as the Earth within only a couple of days.” With a decent pair of binoculars-or even with unaided eyes-anyone can see the comet right now as a tiny, fuzzy, white object in the northern sky- wherever fog
doesn’t obscure the sight. It lies just inside the constellation Perseus, below the more familiar constellation Cassiopeia and due east of Polaris, the North Star. It’s called Comet 17P/Holmes and was discovered in 1892 by the British astronomer Edwin Holmes, who spotted it as it appeared to explode in what Holmes thought was an outbust of gas.”
Pretty interesting, eh? Any thoughts?

Aren’t they cute. They came directly to my kayak. Now just for fun - go hug someone in your family and tell them you love them. Remind them how you appreciate them. Just a thanks for all you do means the world sometimes….or “you are trying so hard in school”. Give real words: we all need them sometimes.

I awoke earlier this morning than usual. I was sleepy and wished I had slept longer,
but decided to wrap up and walk outside, have a sip of my coffee, and check out the day before dawn!
It was stunning! I could see the shadow of the trees in my yard and a big slice of the moon above. The air was crisp, hinting winter is rounding the corner.
Naturally I grabbed my camera and took this photo! (I played with it on photo shop first). It actually made my morning to find this unexpected treat outside!

So get to it, my friends, find beauty in something today and ENJOY! This life is short, make it SWEET

Life is moment by moment and there are no guarantees. I made a promise to myself and my Creator years ago - When I die I will go out of this life believing, loving and happy! I am keeping my promise.
Life rushes by quickly and we often waste time on TRIVIA that just doesn’t matter at all.
Start a mental “housecleaning” and dump useless thoughts and activities from your day.
You will make room for lots more positive things that do matter! Look around. Do you really need to worry about so much? I think not! We can only do so much and then life itself is really a series of unexpected scenarios.
So our best bet is to take life moment by moment and try to find that joy you’ve been too busy to think about lately. Take a deep breath and appreciate just the fact you
are still here!
CREATE a blessed day for yourself and your light will shine and help others too!
